Ranthambore National park is famous for its tigers
and is one of the best places in the country to see these majestic
predators in the wild. The tigers can be easily spotted even during the
day. A good time to visit between November and May when the nature of
the dry deciduous forests makes sightings common. The park is one
of the finest Tiger Reserve of India. A system of three artificial lakes
enhances beauty of the park. The town is experience of royal past and
encounter with majestic tiger. The area became a hunting preserve of
Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I of Jaipur in A.D. Sprawling over a
undulating terrain of Aravali and Vindhyan ranges is wilderness of
Ranthambhor National Park. |
