Introduction :
|
|
Mussoorie, with its green hills and varied flora & fauna, is a facinating
hill resort. Commanding snow ranges to the north-east, and glittering
views of the Doon Valley & Shiwalik ranges in the south, the town
presents a fairyland atmosphere. mussoorie is a very popular weekend
retreat for middle-class Indians up from the plains. The centre is
cluttered with souvenir shops, but it is easy to escape the bazaars and
ramble around the atmospheric cantonment of Landour or head to the
surrounding woods. Mussoorie is famous for its scenic beauty. |
