We had a wonderfull trip.
India is really a surprising country: the south is very different from
the noth but also magic.
The driver was fantastic: efficient and friendly.
The program was very good and the hotels also.
Some comments that can be usefull for you:
Benz park: very good
Femina Trichy: OK: of course a level lower than the others but clean:
good value for money:
Should be better when they finish the renovation.
Supreme Madurai: you can recomend it: good location, super restaurant
on the
roof with very good food: even if the rooms are not luxury, a very
good address
Sienna Village: very good
Spice Village: wonderfull place
Golden Waters: very good place even if location is one level below
Coconut Lagoon.
Houseboat: wonderfull experience, good staff
Marari Beach Resort: very good hotel but very expensive (and good)food.
Place OK if you want to rest but not a lot to do around. Probably
Varkala has more activity around.
Trident: very good hotel. Fort Cochin is a nicest place but the hotel
was wonderfull.

We had a very enjoyable tour of Rajasthan through your agency, and
with your excellent driver, Mr Mahinder Singh.
It gives us great pleasure to comment on the following aspects of the
trip:
Delhi Representative:
Abhishek Skulka, who met us at Delhi Airport on our arrival, made us
feel welcome with his friendly and efficient manner. We also
appreciated having the orientation to the tour at the hotel to
finalise our account and run through the itinerary.
Hotels:
We enjoyed staying in all the accommodation on the tour. They all had
their own appeal in terms of location, staff, service, and meals.
Transport and Driver:
We cannot thank you enough for assigning Mr Mahinder Singh as our
driver. He made a most significant difference to our Rajasthan
experience. We appreciated his warm and friendly manner, his care and
concern for our welfare, his generosity, his flexibilty, and his
impressive and extensive knowledge of and insights about the region
and its people.
Obviously, we felt comfortable and safe the whole time we were on the
road.
And, of course, we enjoyed travelling in the Ambassador car, which was
always clean and well-maintained by Mr Mahinder.
Itinerary:
The itinerary suited the amount of time we could spend in Rajasthan.
It was well-planned, well-paced, comprehensive, and a great
introduction to the region.
The local guides were professional and experienced and we particularly
liked having the younger guides in Agra and Bikaner.
As a female traveller, I would have liked having some local female
guides, but I understand that cultural and social sensitivities may
preclude this.
Shopping Component:
We did appreciate the shopping component of the tour as it provides
exposure to the wealth of local arts and crafts in the region, and we
were selective in our purchases. However, we did find it off-putting
when a couple of the local guides wanted us to go to specific
emporiums. As you advised, we declined their invitations, preferring
to go our own way.
To conclude, we had a wonderful time in Rajasthan and we will be
recommending this tour and your agency to our family, friends and
colleagues.

we stayed in India from December 11th to December 25th 2006. Our tour
started in Delhi and went to Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Pushkar,
Jodhpur, Ranakpur, Mounty Abu and Udaipur. We like to say thank you
for the best organisation, we had a wonderful tour, nice hotels, we
met a lot of friendly and helpful people and we had really no
problems. Our Ambassador car was the best for the Indian roads and our
driver Pyare Lal was the be st we could have. Of course our next tour

Only we have a complaint : the hotel in Mysore. I presume it used to
be a good hotel but today it is old and dirty. I really think there

should be better to have the hotel in the city center instead of

country. Our driver, Pyare Lal Bhatt, was exceptional. While we
desired to shop in Jaipur and Agra, he never pushed us to look at too
many shops and he never rushed us. We were also very pleased when he
allowed us to stop for pictures or go out to dinner late in the
evening. We found that he was also fairly knowledgeable on India,
itself, and we found that we asked him many questions that we didn't
have time for with our tour guides. Speaking of tour guides, we were
very pleased with you choices. They were all kind and informative and
we definitely felt that we had paid for the quality of guide. Finally,
we were very content with your hotel choices in Delhi and Jaipur. Both
contained wonderful staff and immaculate facilities. We were not as
pleased with the Clarke Shiraz in Agra, but we understand that it was
a heavy tourist season and that was the best you could book. Thank you
again for a wonderful time in India. We are already looking into
another visit in the future and we will most certainly use your tour

I am sorry for taking so long to reply to our trip, but I have been
extremely busy since my return to Scotland. I hope you find the enclosed
information helpful.
We traveled throughout the Golden Triangle from the 23rd April to 3rd May
2004, a total of 10 full days in India. I traveled throughout with my
daughter, and we had a fantastic time, with just the right balance of
sightseeing and personal time. Most of the journey was by train but with
the added benefit of a driver between transport and hotels, with the final
journey between Jaipur and Delhi by car.
1) The trip was well organized and fulfilled most of our expectations. The
representatives from the time of booking and throughout our trip were most
helpful.
2) Hotels we stayed in were the Hyatt Regency in Delhi, Jaypee Palace in
Agra, Sawai Madhopur Lodge at Ranthambore Park, the Palace of Samode, and
the Rajputana Sheraton in Jaipur. I have graded our hotels as follows; The
Best(B) and Most Disappointing (D, within each category.
For Welcome and Service (B) The Palace of Samode (So Personal) (D) Jaypee
Palace (Lacked interest)
For Quality/Clean Rooms (B) The Palace of Samode (Great upgrade!) (D)
Jaypee Palace (Second rate standards) For Facilities (B) Hyatt Regency
(Everything was Professional)(D) Palace of Samode (Poor Spa
Treatments*)For Quality of Food (B) Hyatt Regency (Just brilliant
restaurants) (D) Sawai Madhopur Lodge (Poor information) Overall (B) Hyatt

The most exciting experience was the Palace of Samode. This place was
amazing and the people throughout were so friendly. We were slightly
disappointed, as we had decided that we would make good use of the Spa
treatments when we got there, but the Male Masseurs were ill. This was of
course unfortunate and did not leave so much to do. However my daughter
felt that the female treatments were of a poor standard compared with, for
instance, the Hyatt.
At Sawai Madhopur it would have been helpful to have had an option to the
Buffet (which we were trying to avoid) and only found out after that we
could have eaten in the restaurant. Unfortunately we were both ill after
the first experience.
I think that the Jaypee Palace feel that they do not have to try very hard
as they have a captive audience due to the Taj being there.
The Hyatt was fantastic. Great restaurants, caring staff everywhere. Would
just about go back just to stay there!! I wrote a letter to the manager to
praise him, and particularly the staff in the Health Club, and as such it
would have been nice to have had my letter acknowledged.
3) Local guides throughout were highly informative and helpful.
4) Transport arrangements throughout were excellent, and Paul was a star,
fun, and really helpful throughout.
5) What could we suggest that could improve your service? Well, I have to
say that travel is a passion of mine, both in Business and Pleasure. The
first thing I would suggest that you print out a simple guide to local
protocol, expected cultures and tipping. I know that the latter is a
personal thing, but overall it would save embarrassment and a lot of time
wasting if there was some pointers, as I did not have as much time to
prepare for this trip as usual. Most specialized travel companies do this
for their clients.
The second thing was local information. We had only found out from a guest
at the Jaypee Palace that the best time to visit the Taj was either
Sunrise or Sunset - so this meant 2 trips.
Finally and this is not your fault, but I am thinking seriously about
sending this letter to some of the top travel magazines in this country.
One reason maybe to recommend yourselves, but the second is to bring to
the attention of the Indian government Tourism Department the tasteless
exploitation of the Bears. On the road between Agra and Bharatapur, we
counted 7 Bears which were apparently owned by Afghan travellers. Everyone
I spoke to were unhappy about this (including Indian people) but
apparently
the local police do nothing - are they bribed? This situation could
seriously harm tourism in your country.
I would love to visit Kashmir, but I have to say that I would have to
think very hard before returning to India, either for business or
pleasure, until this situation is resolved.
Other than that, and the upset stomach, we had a brilliant time. I wish
you well in your business.

India's food is excellent, the services in the hotels commendable and the
bit we saw of its cultural heritage, world class. I, as a retired
politician and diplomat has the additional bonus that our visit was on the
eve of your elections, I could discuss matters with an ex-colleague and
will be able to follow developments with first hand knowledge.

If you are a seasoned traveler this is of no interest to you. I had
visited India on business but always in the company of an Indian colleague
who made sure everything went smoothly and took care of all our
arrangements. I wanted to bring my wife and two daughters on a visit
without involving any work contacts. We set up our visit via the internet
with Urmila of Services International and set off expecting to have great
difficulties dealing with all the things my friend sorted out for me on my
earlier visit. Here is some information that we would have found
comforting to have before we left.

Services International is a real firm with offices
and staff and not a cyberspace company run out of someone's kitchen
using an accommodation address. We visited the offices and met the staff
during our visit.

They do actually meet you at the airport, even if
like us the plane is delayed, and take you to your hotel and take care
of all the formalities in booking you in.

Every time you move to a hotel in another city you
are met when you arrive at the hotel by a representative and booked in.
The same representative is present when you leave to assist.

You always have both a local contact number and
the mobile number to contact if you require assistance. We needed to
make changes in our itinerary on two occasions at very short notice and
new hotel and travel arrangements were pleasantly and efficiently put in
place for us.

The final hurdle of getting through the
formalities at Delhi airport, a concern I had after my earlier
experiences, was handled completely by the representative.

Guides, cars, tour arrangements were all provided
exactly as promised and to the highest standards.
If I had known just how good the support offered was
going to be we would have set off with less trepidation. We had a
wonderful time that was in no small part due to the excellent assistance
with all aspects of our trip supplied by Urmila and her team.

But so far I don't know whether he has recieved them ( I am attaching the
same photos ). We will never forget him. You are so lucky to have a good
and careful driver like him. Maybe there are friends who will also go to
india in the coming year. We recommended that they contact you. I hope

Many, many thanks again for the wonderful service that you gave to us
this year. I can't explain how much it meant to meet you and some of
your colleagues at Services International and of course, to see George
again ! Now I will be able to picture you all when I begin to make

Thinking of next year, the conference will be in
Assam, Gowehatti, (is that how you spell it ?), so a completely new
area for me. The only things I know about it is that it is a tea
growing area and also home to the king cobra !!! We shall have to
investigate the best way to travel there and also probably want to go
from there to Dargeeling and kalimpong as Jeremy has family there.

There were no problems at all in the end, even the long drive back to
Delhi was tolerable ! Your arrangements were impeccable !

I write you to tell you my opinion about some aspects of our
journey.
Everyhing was fine and we had a lovely time in India. Thank You.
The representatives were very kind, helpful, punctual and correct.
we only had the problem in Jaipur that I told you and I think you
very much for your help.
The hotels were good. The best of course was the Intercontinental
in Delhi. the Tridents were very good too. The hotel we liked less
was the Hindustan in Varanasi. It wasn't very clean and everything
was old and not in very good condition.
In Nepal we liked also the hotel Vaisalhi because it was very well
situated in Thamel.
The restaurants in all the hotels were good.
Food was very good in general. We liked Indian food very much (we
didn't know it before). Breakfasts were good in all hotels except,
perhaps, in Ranbanka where it was quite poor. We also Tried some
restaurants that you recommend in your web and all of them were
nice.
The cars were good and the drivers were excellent, they drove
carefully and were very kind.
The flights were also good and panctual although it seems Jet
airways is better and more modern than Indian airlines. The
controls at the airports were hard but we didn't have any
problems. You know we only had the flight from Nepal to Delhi
cancelled and lost one day. By the way, I' m very sorry not to
have phoned to tell you it but we were five hours waiting at the
airport, (with half the passengers) had already arrived in Delhi
and I thought that you knew the problem by the time we arrived at
the hotel. They didn't tell us the time of the next day flight
until three hours before the flight.
The night train was good too.
We are happy with your services and will recommend our agency to
our friends.
Again, thank you very much and we hope to return to india some
day.

My wife and I are back home after a most memorable and enjoyable
tour with our daughter through parts of India. We wish to thank you,
and I am sure Pramod will allow me to say, especially Urmila (miss
Singh), for excellent arrangements and advice and prompt responses
to whatever I mentioned. So much so that I can assure you that
should we require travel services for India in the future or would
have to recommend such services to any one there is but one stop for
us and that is SERVICES INTERNATIONAL ! Mr. Gulab Singh was also a
very good driver and a knowledgable "guide" as we were driving
along. We saw a tigress and three full-grown cubs in Ranthambore :
not only a few glimpses, but they were next to us in the grass :
playing, romping, crouching for the best part of an half an hour.
India's food is excellent, the services in the hotels commendable
and the bit we saw of its cultural heritage, world class. I, as a
retired politician and diplomat has the additional bonus that our
visit was on the eve of your elections, I could discuss matters with
an ex-colleague and will be able to follow developments with first
hand knowledge.
So I thank you once more, wish you the very best, not only of
the day but of times to come and send you also my wife and
daughter's warments regards !
